Four Quarterbacks, One Injury, One Suspension
There have been quarterback controversies in the NFL in the past, there has even been a few on the Steelers teams of old, but nothing compares to what is going on right now in Pittsburgh. more »

Oh, What a Night! #Steelers or #Pitt?
Tomorrow is Thursday. It is a big night for some, another night, for others. The questions is, what should we watch? Do we watch Pitt football? They are facing Utah in Utah. This could be the first of many victories for Pitt this season. They are coming in ranked #15. I hope that means something. Or should we watch the last preseason Steeler game? WHo starts at quarterback? Will they get it together? Will they live up to Sports Illustrated's Peter King and win the Super Bowl this year? Will this be the start the Steelers need to succeed? more »

Blogger Credentials- This Bloggers Perspective
I have been hearing a ton about bloggers wanting the rights to go into the places and report on the things that they write about in their blogs. I agree and yet I disagree with this idea. Why would someone want to give someone that isn't officially educa… more »

New Look #NHL? How Will the New Rule Ideas Affect the #Pens?
The NHL just held its annual Research and Development Camp, which is an event where the NHL leaders get to try out new rule ideas and see how they pan out on ice. It is interesting to see what ideas they come up with and thinking of how they will look if they would implement them. I get excited at the possibilities. I am going to tell you some of the ideas and then explain what they could mean for the NHL next season if implemented. more »

My Arron Asham Two Cents, Possible Penguin Lines, and Other Ramblings...
I saw the Arron Asham signing and thought the same thing everyone else did, what have we done?! Then I began to think of the things we were missing as a team and what he can provide. My mind changed instantly. I am going to look up possible line scenarios as well. more »

The Steelers So Far...
So far, after a couple weeks of practices, workouts, and one preseason game, I come to several conclusions. The first one has to do with the Quarterback situation, the second in the realm of Wide Receivers, the third is Linemen, fourth is Running Backs, Defense and Special Teams will round it out.. Now remember, this is based on a few practices and a preseason game against the Detroit Lions, nothing more, nothing less. As of now, though, we will be playoff-bound. more »

Busy Week in Pittsburgh!
Although there is no playoff implications or anything of that sort in the air right now, we did have some great things happen. We had a walk off 3 run shot from Pedro Alvarez, the new Consol Energy Center officially opened, Pitt and Penn State are in the top 15 in the country to start off the season, and the Steelers are looking pretty good (in my eyes) as well as our own Dick Lebeau being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Also, we have three new writers preparing their first posts as we speak! more »

Pittsburgh Week in Review
I was trying to think of what I wanted to do here, so I thought of the idea of a weekly review of what happened in the Pittsburgh sporting world and beyond. Considering it isn't hockey season-yet or football season-yet and our baseball team isn't that go… more »

Back to the Grind
Well, it has been a while. I know. I am currently sitting here at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh studying Web Design and Interactive Media. I am in my second semester. Going back to school after ten years isn't quite what I expected. I guess I expected more of a challenge. I mean after Arabic, everything seems so much simpler. I know, your saying that I failed, but I assure you it wasn't because of lack of effort. I gave my 100%. Here I am in computer basics and learning basic art school classes, surrounded by young people, I am still young at 31, seeing what potential they have if they just apply themselves. I remember those days. I was one of those people. more »
