Giving Thanks
This is the first of two favorite times of the year. We have to give it to the guys from the past, we wouldn't be able to be the way we are today without them. While reading this, really think about what I am saying here. more »

I am Legend
I am Legend. I figured a catchy title may intrigue you more sine I haven't given you anything to read in a good while. What can I say, the Pens, although dropping a few in the last week and getting killed with injuries, are looking even better than last year. The Steelers are back on track after that big Monday night win over the Broncos. As for the Pirates, well, let's hope that really was year two of the three year rebuilding plan. Only three more to endure! more »

Pens, Bucs, and Stillers
Well, I have been distant recently, but I hope this post will make up for some of it. There has been a lot going on with our teams lately and as my co-authors have been tremendous at voicing their thoughts and opinions, I believe it is my turn to give you a little insight into my head about these happenings. more »

Can a Champion Get Better?
This is a question that can be asked after a championship season and is usually answered with a resounding "no". In the Steelers case, I actually believe that we have. There were few holes from last year that we were able to plug this year. Of course, nothing is perfect, but come on, it is our Steelers! more »

City of Champions
Now, the past couple years, our dear city has had a ton of success in terms of sports teams and events. We now have two Superbowl wins, two Stanley Cup Finals appearances and a Stanley Cup Victory. The Pirates are finally on a rise, however small, it is still just that, a rise. Pitt is always trying to move up, we will see this coming season. We seemed to be poised with some great success for years to come. That is why we claimed the name, the City of Champions more »

Aftermath, A Steelers Story
After a Superbowl winning effort in the 2008 season, we prepare to see what is left after the offseason took hold. This is the time of year where teams get rebuilt, made, or broke, depending on who's contracts are up and/or who goes for the big money after a great season. Surprisingly, the Steelers are in excellent shape, and should be just as good or better than last year. more »

James Harrison – Feared Defender, Questionable Decision-Maker
He is the reigning defensive player of the year in the National Football League. He is a 2 time Steelers team MVP. He holds the Steelers team record for sacks in a single season. He is one of the most feared defensive forces in all of football. However, his choice of a suitable pet for his child is, in my opinion, completely flawed. more »

Exciting Days Ahead
So I spent the last day reading a lot of articles and getting the overall feel of what happened Wednesday night. I had extreme confidence that we would win the first playoff game. I am a very superstitious guy and have this really great Lemieux sweater that I can't wear on game day due to the fact that they never win when I wear it...even during the end of this past season. It seemed that every time I wore it during the game, they lost. Well, Wednesday night, I dawned that sweater. I knew that we would come out victorious. Now I can't not wear it. It is officially labeled my playoff sweater. more »
