The Pittsburgh Pirates did what?!?! They traded Nate McLouth to the Atlanta Braves for nothing?!?! This is just another salary dump!!! Bob Nutting is at it again!!! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!?! These are just some of the comments that were made, and continue to be made by fans, media, and players of the Pirates after the trade was announced that sent Nate McLouth to the Atlanta Braves in return for 3 top level prospects. Malkin Should Be Suspended
Never before has there been a league that has so many double-standards in its enforcement of the rules. An intentional knee-on-knee hit is an automatic suspension, except when your name is Alex Ovechkin. Slashing another player’s stick out of their hands is an automatic 2-minute minor penalty, except when you are Marian Hossa. Instigating a fight in the last 5 minutes of regulation or in overtime is an automatic 1-game suspension, unless you are Evgeni Malkin.
