Four Quarterbacks, One Injury, One Suspension
There have been quarterback controversies in the NFL in the past, there has even been a few on the Steelers teams of old, but nothing compares to what is going on right now in Pittsburgh. more »

Crazy like a Tomlin?
Did the Steelers know something we didn't about Ben's suspension?Did they know the commish would possibly reduce the suspension to three games or less?Is that why he keeps starting?Don't know, but it's an interesting concept. more »

Oh, What a Night! #Steelers or #Pitt?
Tomorrow is Thursday. It is a big night for some, another night, for others. The questions is, what should we watch? Do we watch Pitt football? They are facing Utah in Utah. This could be the first of many victories for Pitt this season. They are coming in ranked #15. I hope that means something. Or should we watch the last preseason Steeler game? WHo starts at quarterback? Will they get it together? Will they live up to Sports Illustrated's Peter King and win the Super Bowl this year? Will this be the start the Steelers need to succeed? more »

Defending Tomlin
Mike Tomlin is getting ripped everywhere he turns: on the airwaves, in print and all over television. I even heard Post-Gazette Stillers beat writer Ed Bouchette criticizing him on ESPN last night. The controversy? Backup QBs, who will start for at le… more »

Daniel Sepulveda vs. Jeff Reed: The Battle for Special Teams dominance begins.
No one saw this coming from a mile away, Jeff Reed has been booted from the kickoff squad and replaced with punter, Daniel Sepulveda. I don't know where to begin with this since I am a fan of both of these men but you have to look at this through C… more »

Are We Philadelphia Eagles Fans or Pittsburgh Steeler Fans?
What are wrong with Steeler fans? First, we love Ben Roethlisberger, then we hate him, then we miss him, then we have him and don't want him anymore. What is our deal? This is going to be a short one simply based on the fact that I am writing this on… more »

Stop the Dixon Talk
Let me start off by saying I think Dennis Dixon is a great athlete and a good quarterback. Watching him his senior year he was completing almost 68% of his passes and throwing 20 TD'sand I became a fan. He was well on his way to earning himself a Heisman until a knee injury cost him his season, a possible Heisman, and a probable first round selection. more »

The Steelers So Far...
So far, after a couple weeks of practices, workouts, and one preseason game, I come to several conclusions. The first one has to do with the Quarterback situation, the second in the realm of Wide Receivers, the third is Linemen, fourth is Running Backs, Defense and Special Teams will round it out.. Now remember, this is based on a few practices and a preseason game against the Detroit Lions, nothing more, nothing less. As of now, though, we will be playoff-bound. more »

Let's meet Antonio Brown
One of the standouts from last night was Steelers WR Antonio Brown out of Central Michigan. Brown finished last night with only 3 catches but racked up 84 including a 68 yard touchdown catch on a pass from Dennis Dixon over the middle on a little crossing route and outran the coverage down the left side for the score.Let's meet Antonio Brown more »

Preseason - Steelers vs. Lions 8/14
Folks, the Pirates season has ended; It is Pittsburgh Steelers time. One of the many reasons I am proud to be a Yinzer is even though it is the first preseason game and it is against the Lions, The fan's mindset is in midseason form. Walking around the mall today everyone (except for me because I have a superstition about it) was wearing their Steeler jerseys. For us football is football.Onto the game! more »

Busy Week in Pittsburgh!
Although there is no playoff implications or anything of that sort in the air right now, we did have some great things happen. We had a walk off 3 run shot from Pedro Alvarez, the new Consol Energy Center officially opened, Pitt and Penn State are in the top 15 in the country to start off the season, and the Steelers are looking pretty good (in my eyes) as well as our own Dick Lebeau being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Also, we have three new writers preparing their first posts as we speak! more »
