August 23rd was a day of goalie news that may impact the Wilkes Barre Penguins; unfortunately I find these announcements to be bad news. The NHL just held its annual Research and Development Camp, which is an event where the NHL leaders get to try out new rule ideas and see how they pan out on ice. It is interesting to see what ideas they come up with and thinking of how they will look if they would implement them. I get excited at the possibilities. I am going to tell you some of the ideas and then explain what they could mean for the NHL next season if implemented. more »
