Pitt added a WR, a RB and two lineman, one offensive and one defensive, today.
Kevin Weatherspoon of Clairton...

became the first to verbal this morning. He's a 5'11" 175 lb. WR with offers from Pitt, Syracuse, Kent State, and Toledo.
The two lineman came from the same high school, Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, NJ.
OL Brandon Sacco had offers from Pitt, Rutgers, Vandy, Virginia, and Miami-OH. He's 6'3", 242, has a 5.05 40, squats 415 and benches 330.

DL Bryan Murphy is 6'2", 230, 4.61 in the 40, benches 325, squats 420 and has a 34 inch vertical leap. He had offers from Pitt, Vandy, UCF, Akron, East Carolina, BC, Colorado, Louisville, Maryland, and Michigan State.

Lastly, 6'1" 200 RB T.J. Peeler out of Ashburn, VA (Broad Run High School)picked Pitt today over West Virginia and N.C. State. During his junion season, he ran for 1,145-yards and 18 touchdowns while missing 3 games because of injury. He said Wanny was happy to hear him commit today and he's happy with his choice. He's been clocked at 4.59 in the 40.

It's great to see Pitt come up with some players, but the key is quality, quality, quality, not quantity. None of these players were must gets or major targets. In a full 25 man class, which we are taking this season, you will fill out the bottom with role players, but out of our 9 commits so far, most of them fit the role player tag and not the baller tag. It's time to bring in the ballers and prove you're for real in the recruiting battles, coaches.
